How do you use your language skills in your work/career?
I process global relocations for several large corporations, so I am a file manager who works closely with global suppliers, global executives and their families, and global HR managers for these corporations. Oftentimes to provide the most clear, concise information possible, I address all emails, work authorizations, and calls in foreign languages, to facilitate the services.
What is the biggest misconception Americans have about learning languages?
The biggest misconception is that they are not commonly used or necessary in every industry. No matter where you turn, there is a need for people who can communicate in other languages than English.
Then tell us your plans to put those language skills to work @LeadWLanguages on social media.
